At Rema, LLC, the purpose of offering Sociants.com, as an Internet solution, is to provide you with a connection to organizations in your community that are willing to help you and your dependents. Sociants aims to facilitate connectivity and communication between support entities in the community with the needs of individuals as quickly as possible, or refer others who can provide the necessary assistance. For these reasons, at Sociants we value the trust you place in us to protect your information. We take our responsibility to establish protections for your information and with whom and for what purpose we share your information very seriously. Your information can only be shared with registered users who are subject to multiple limitations.

We have developed Sociants taking into account the established principles of privacy and security, but also the applicable laws and regulations. Within the limits of such principles and laws, Sociants shares information with third party contractors, also known as processors, to achieve the goals of enabling connections and transactions between all users. Subject to this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time, Sociants provides a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to its users residing in the United States of America to use its products and services. Users are people who have created a profile on Sociants and have accepted our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy; Users may not access their protected information beyond the limitations of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and applicable user types. Users with access to protected information will only use such information for the benefit of individuals and not to their detriment. Propulsa, LLC., is the intellectual owner of Sociants and licenses REMA, LLC., to use and market its products and services ("Sociants Services"). BY USING THE SOCIANTS SERVICES, YOU SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY. IF USER DOES NOT AGREE, USER SHOULD NOT USE THE SOCIANTS WEBSITE.

1. Information. Sociants collects certain information to provide the best and most efficient service through our website. Sociants requires users to create an account for registration purposes and agree to our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes the practices related to individually identifiable information collected through the use of the website that you and other users provided at the time of registration. Notwithstanding the existence of this Privacy Policy, you understand that you may be giving up some element of privacy in exchange for using Sociants services.

2. Use of information. Sociants collects information about individuals, organizations and community providers to help create, develop, operate, deliver and improve their services. Sociants' main goal is to match individual and community needs with the resources they need. By matching needs and services, our platform provides visibility to all entities and tools for better decision-making and optimization for the provision of care and services. To achieve this goal, Sociants will share information with third parties that provide services to meet your needs. In addition, Sociants may use the user's individually identifiable information for, but not limited to, verification of the user's identity, for analytics purposes, and to determine the appropriate services based on analytics. From time to time, Sociants may take your personal information to send important notices, such as communications about payments, charges, case status, changes to terms of use, conditions, and policies, such as this Privacy Policy. Because this information is essential to the user's interaction with Sociants, the user should not opt out of receiving these communications. Sociants may also use the information provided for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, intelligence gathering, and research to improve Sociants services, but in doing so, Sociants does not refer to users by individual name, email address, home address, telephone number or any other identifiable information.

3. Authorization. In order to provide your services, you grant Sociants a non-exclusive, transferable, irrevocable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use your information and that of individuals under your care to the fullest extent possible in accordance with the law. By agreeing to the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, you understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. In providing its services, Sociants may collaborate with legitimate third party service providers, such as contractors, processors, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) or other third party websites. Sociants will demand compliance with the laws of said third parties. You understand that Sociants is not responsible or liable for the privacy practices of any third party or third party service providers, or their acts and omissions.

4. Compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 ("HIPAA"). Some of the individually identifiable information provided to Sociants may constitute protected health information (“PHI”), as defined under HIPAA. Because Sociants stores and has access to PHIa PHI and because it is within a chain of services that involves Community Providers and other users, all must comply with the HIPAA Privacy Rules Rule regarding the handling of information. Sociants will only use or disclose PHI in accordance with 45 CFR 164.502 (A) (1), (2), and (3). Sociants does not sell, rent, or share an individual user's PHI in violation of any law or regulation; or to unaffiliated entities; or without obtaining satisfactory assurances that the affiliated third party will adequately safeguard the information in accordance with 45 CFR 164; or without the consent of the user in accordance with 45 CFR 164.508 (a) (4).

5. Security. Sociants takes the protection of confidential information very seriously and has adopted 45 CFR 164 as its security standards. The security, integrity, confidentiality, accessibility and availability of User information are important to Sociants. Therefore, Sociants, to the extent possible, works to ensure that the information provided is protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification through the use of strict Sociants policies and procedures applicable to officers, the force employment and business associates of Sociants who have access to PHI and electronic safeguards to prevent, detect, contain and correct security breaches. Sociants protects essential user information during online transit through the use of encryption, firewalls, physical protection, and other administrative security measures. When data is stored by Sociants, the website uses information systems with limited access housed in facilities that use physical security measures. You know that despite Sociants' best efforts, no security measure is perfect or impenetrable. As a result, while Sociants attempts to protect your data, Sociants cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that a user, such as you, transmits to Sociants, and you do so at your own risk.

6. Children's privacy. The Sociants Services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect or store personal information about children under the age of 13. Sociants is committed to complying with the Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (“COPPA”).

7. User Options. You have the right to request access to PHI obtained in accordance with 45 CFR 164.502 (a) (1) (i) to maintain its accuracy, completeness, and currency through your account settings on the Sociants website. The user can and should periodically update the user's email address, password, cardholder data, such as credit card number, expiration date and security code, and other preferences by visiting the option of settings on the Sociants website when you sign up. The user may request that Sociants correct the data if it is inaccurate in the case of non-modifiable information (such as full legal name) by providing proof of real name and contacting Sociants electronically with the concern.

8. Cookies. As part of Sociants, the website may use cookies to store and sometimes track information about Users. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to the User's browser from a web server and stored on the User's computer hard drive. In general, Sociants uses cookies to (i) identify and store who are registered users and allow them access to their account information, so that Users do not have to re-enter them; (ii) collect statistical information about usage by registered or unregistered users and (iii) investigate visiting patterns. The preferences and option settings in the User's browser determine if and how a cookie will be accepted. The user can change those settings through the parameters of the desired website account. By changing preferences, the user can accept all cookies, be notified when a cookie is set, or the user can reject all cookies. If cookies are disabled, the User may be required to re-enter information more frequently and certain features of Sociants may not be available. You authorize us to keep your cookies according to your preferences.

9. Disclosure. Payment information is only disclosed internally by REMA, LLC and its affiliates. However, it may be necessary by law, legal process, litigation and/or requests from public and government authorities within or outside the User's country of residence for Sociants to disclose the User's personal information as established in 45 CFR 160.502 (A) ( 4). Sociants may also disclose information about the User if it is determined that, for purposes of national security, law enforcement, or other matters of public importance, disclosure is necessary or appropriate. Sociants may also disclose information about the User if Sociants determines that disclosure is reasonably necessary to enforce the Sociants Terms of Service or to protect operations or users. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale, Sociants may transfer any personal information Sociants collects to the appropriate third party.

10. Retention. The user can also request the deletion of the data if Sociants is not required to keep it by law or for legitimate business purposes. Sociants may refuse to process requests that are frivolous, endanger the User's privacy and the privacy of others, if they are extremely impractical to comply with, or for which local laws do not require access. Requests for access, correction or deletion can be made through the Sociants website or directly with Sociants electronically using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy. Users shall have no right to be anonymous or use pseudonyms while using the Sociants Services. This is to ensure user identity authentication and for anti-fraud purposes. Sociants reserves the right to remove any account it deems, in its sole discretion, to be false or fraudulent.

11. Close an Account. However, a user can close his account through the account settings of the website. By closing your account, the User acknowledges that their profile information will be removed from the website, but any information provided for connectivity purposes that has been shared with other Users or will be stored for statistical purposes. In the event of the termination of this Agreement, with the presentation of the corresponding request, Sociants will make available to the User or the legally authorized representative, a file of the User's data within ninety (90) business days following the notification of termination by email that has been encrypted. Password protected and has been approved by the security officer with competent authority.

13. Separability. Information collected before changes are made will be protected in accordance with the policies in effect at the time of collection. If any of these terms is held invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such term shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining terms.

14. Changes in the Privacy Policy. Changes to this policy may be made at any time. The User will be notified of material changes to this policy, either through the publication of a prominent announcement on the website or through an email message sent to the email address that the User has provided, which is stored in the website account.

BY CONTINUED USE OF THE SOCIANTS WEBSITE, THE POSTING OF ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS CONSTITUTES USER'S ACCEPTANCE OF SUCH CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS. IF USER DOES NOT AGREE TO THESE CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS, USER MUST IMMEDIATELY STOP USING THE SOCIANTS WEBSITE.
